Watercolor Painting Outdoors with Alice Struck
Saturdays, June 13, July 11, 25, August 1, 8, 22: 9-11:30 am
Join Alice for a 6-week watercolor painting adventure this summer! The Cedarburg Cultural Center is our home base, but an easily walkable area around it will be our inspiration for painting outdoor icons, intimate mini scenes or buildings with the historic charm of Cedarburg. In the first session, we will introduce practical adaptations for painting with transparent watercolors outdoors, including a review of supplies and equipment, listed on the Supply List below. Techniques for sketching and painting while outdoors, on trips or vacations, in your yard or at Plein Air events, will be demonstrated, then tried out during class. In case of inclement weather, class will be held in the CCC classroom.
