Rendering Water in Colored Pencil with Mary Pesch

In this series for beginners and experienced alike, participants will learn techniques to create realistic images in colored pencil, more specifically, a water droplet's reflection, sunlight cast through a wave on the lake and pebbles and water on the beach. Step-by-step instruction and demonstrations to illustrate helpful tips and tricks accompanied with individual attention in a nurturing environment result in a wonderful learning experience. Mary will provide helpful worksheets to follow to continue layering colors to enhance your projects. Mary will cover innovated pencil strokes, blending methods, highlighting, creative textures, embossing and toned paper instruction. Some supplies are included; students should bring their own Prismacolor Premium72 piece colored pencil set (or contact Kerry for list of specific colors needed for projects). The CCC has two sets of colored pencils available, if needed.
