Meet producer and director, Graham Killeen
Graham Killeen is an award-winning writer, theater producer and director, and filmmaker. For almost a decade he covered entertainment for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reviewing films and theater, interviewing celebrities, and writing arts features. He has over 100 theater credits, most recently directing for the Hartford Players, Waukesha Civic Theatre, Go Fish Productions, and West Bend Children’s Theatre. Killeen also co-founded Rogue Stage Theater where he produced and directed Spring Awakening and August: Osage County which were nominated for Footlights Awards for Outstanding Direction and won Outstanding Musical and Play. Killeen has written, directed, and produced feature length films, shorts, music videos, commercials, and industrials. His movies have screened at Columbia University, the NYC Downtown Short Film Festival and the Independence Film Festival, picking up awards for Best Action Adventure Film at the Dusk Till Dawn Film Festival in Texas, Best Horror Film at the Trail Dance Film Festival in Oklahoma, and Best Screenplay at the Milwaukee 48 Hour Film Project. He was also named Best Local Filmmaker in a Shepherd Express readers’ poll. Killeen has judged arts events and lectured at the Milwaukee Art Museum, the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Milwaukee Area Technical College, and the Milwaukee High School of the Arts.
