CEDARBURG CULTURAL CENTER

Introducing Cedar Creek Players –
Ozaukee’s New Local Theater Company
The Cedarburg Cultural Center is excited to announce the launch of Cedar Creek Players, a brand-new community theater company based in Cedarburg. Founded with a passion for storytelling and a commitment for creativity, connection, and community, Cedar Creek Players will bring engaging, high-quality theatrical productions to the heart of Ozaukee County.
Our mission is to create a welcoming space where local talent can shine – on stage and behind the scenes – and where audiences of all ages can experience the magic of a live performance. Whether you’re a seasoned performer, a behind-the-scenes enthusiast, or someone who simply loves a good story, we invite you to be part of our journey.
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll make our debut this Spring with the beloved American classic, Our Town, by Thornton Wilder. Set in the fictional town of Grover’s Corners, Our Town captures the simple beauty of everyday life, the power of human connection, and the passage of time – themes that resonate deeply with the charming city of Cedarburg. Like Grover’s Corners, Cedarburg is a place where neighbors know each other, where history lives on every street corner, and where community is at the heart of it all.
Cedar Creek Players will be led by award winning writer, theater producer and director, and filmmaker Graham Killeen, who will direct and produce the show. Audition details and performance dates and times coming soon.
Let’s raise the curtain together – Cedar Creek Players is ready to take the stage!
Come for the disco, stay for the cause.

TRAPPER SCHOEPP
In 2019, Trapper Schoepp published a song with Bob Dylan called “On, Wisconsin” - making him the youngest musician to share a co-writing credit with the Nobel Prize Winner. The song led to a #1 trending article in Rolling Stone and 100+ tour dates worldwide.
The young Wisconsin songwriter has released 5 albums, collaborating with members of Wilco, The Raconteurs and The Jayhawks. He's recently recorded at Johnny Cash's historic CASH CABIN, creating a folk rock odyssey titled Siren Songs. PBS noted Trapper for his: "Story songs that explore and explode the conventions of rock and roll" while Rolling Stone France calls his latest a “Charming 100% Americana opus."
Trapper has acted as a musical ambassador for rare disease research organization Harmony 4 Hope since 2015, inspired by his own battle with chronic pain. He’s also acted as an ambassador for Gibson Guitars, Guitars 4 Vets and Connecting to Cure.
Trapper has toured the world with artists like The Wallflowers, Old 97's, The Jayhawks and Frank Turner and headlined tours across Europe/USA with stops at historic spaces like New York’s Town Hall, LA’s Roxy Theatre and SXSW.
