Classic Watercolor Paintings with New Techniques with Alice Struck
Saturdays, September 26, October 3, 24, 31, November 7, 14: 9-11:30 am
Classic transparent watercolor painting is unparalleled for fresh, sparkling and spontaneous approaches, which will be the foundation of this series. In addition, there are new techniques, media and processes that have added power and depth, which will also be introduced. We will continue the popular format in each class of Critique, Demonstration and Hands-on try outs. Topics to Explore: composition and layout, how to pace and sequences (what to do first, second, how to finish), transfer methods to get your initial sketch or idea into the size and aspect (proportion) you want, how to achieve the colors you want, creating a series, collection or story, introduction of current or experimental media. See below for Supply List.
