Ages 8-13. Come learn guitar in a fun group setting! In this series, participants will become familiar with the guitar, including tuning, bringing out sounds, major/minor scale shapes, and how to read tablature to play beginner songs. They will start with basic chords before tackling barre chords, learn the importance of using a capo to change keys, and some strumming patterns as well as basic picking styles. Students should bring guitar, capo, and clip on tuner. Learn beginner songs, rhythm guitar, riffs and basic soloing. Acoustic or electric instruction. These are available at Old Mill Guitars in Cedarburg or Brass Bell.

Private Guitar Lessons with Emma Lezala
Ages 8 -13. Private sessions will be scheduled according to the best time for student and instructor after session(s) are purchased.
Emma Lezala is an enthusiastic guitar enthusiast who has dedicated eight years to self-teaching. Her musical tastes span classic rock icons like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and AC/DC, as well as country and contemporary artists such as Phoebe Bridgers and Billie Eilish. With experience teaching friends and a background in educational roles with children, Emma is thrilled to impart her love for music through lessons. This course is an excellent opportunity for beginners to embark on their musical journey. Guitars and supplies are available at Old Mill Guitars in Cedarburg or Brass Bell. Old Mill Guitars will have an acoustic and electric guitar and amp available at CCC, if someone needs it.
