Teen Clay Sculpting with Taylor McDarison 
Tuesday & Wednesday, July 21 & 22:  1-2:30 pm

This two day clay class allows teens the opportunity and joy of sculpting in clay as they design and build a small clay box and personalize it to make it their own. Whether they are a beginner or experienced in clay, they will enjoy creating. We will focus on hand-building in coil and pinch methods, slab building, slipping and scoring, painting with engobes and sgraffito techniques. No previous experience in clay necessary; students are encouraged to bring a smock. All supplies are included; class fee includes cost of firings, clay and glazes.
