Comics and Comedy: Writing the Funnies with Alexandra Garcia
Wednesday & Thursday, April 1 & 2: 1-2:30 pm
This class, for ages 12-17, is all about character design and making some fun original characters! April Fools! Be ready to draw in this class! By the last session, you will have some fun characters that you will develop stories around to make your own comics! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a 3-5 page story starring your characters. At the end of the class, everyone will show off the comic and read it to the class. Participants should bring a 9x12” (approx.) sketchbook. All other supplies are included.
