Día de Muertos Celebration & Papel Picado Art with Cecilia Guajardo

Experience the traditions of Mexico and celebrate Day of the Dead with us as Cecilia shares the richness of her Mexican heritage. Participants will enjoy homemade Mexican Hot Chocolate and traditional Mexican pastries while learning a bit of Spanish and designing their own colorful “papel picado” (intricately-cut paper flags strung together and traditionally hung during Day of the Dead) or while immersing themselves in mindfulness coloring of images of La Catrina and Día de Muertos.
