Creative Writing Pop-Up:  One month to write a novel?! with Alex Garcia 
Saturday, November 1:  1-3 pm 
Every November, writers from all around the world take a challenge once called "National Novel Writing Month" (NaNoWriMo) where authors set out to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. The organization may no longer be around, but the challenge still lives on in many writing communities. In this class we will break down the original challenge that has been around since 1999, how to adapt it to your own writing and techniques to help keep you in the habit of writing. Come ready to take notes, work some creative writing muscles, and share your own writing! Students should bring notebook/writing instrument.
