Mixed Media Abstracts with Beki Borman
Saturday, April 13: 9 am-3 pm
Delve deep into the heart of art making with this fun and playful class. Focusing on materials, we will discuss how to effectively layer, texture, and attach in various ways. In discussing abstraction, we will explore the process of decision making and evaluation. This class is open to all levels of experience. A supply list is available below.

Supply List for Beki Borman
-scissors
-2 canvases (stretched) 11”x14 or 16x20
-acrylic paint (at least red,yellow,blue, white)
-acrylic matte medium
-1” masking tape or painters tape
-assorted paint brushes
-jars or cups for water (2 or 3)
-any other found materials that you would like to use (papers, fabrics, pencils, etc)
Optional: photographs to work from
Optional: soft pastels, colored pencils
