Donate a Unique Ornament

The CCC invites you to create a unique ornament(s) or small decoration for its first-ever “Kuhefuss House Holiday Marketplace” fundraiser at its Kuhefuss House Museum on each of the 6 Fridays leading up to the Christmas holiday: November 18 & 25, December: 2, 9, 16 & 23 from 5-9 pm.

These festive evenings at the House are slated to feature a unique private label “Kuhefuss House” wine for sale, lively holiday music, signature beverages and unique ornaments created by our very own talented local artists.

Ornaments or small decorations may be crafted from any material, but should be suitable for display on a tree or another small support. All ornaments will be priced at $30.

Please bring your completed ornament(s) to the Cedarburg Cultural Center (W62 N546 Washington Ave) on or before Tuesday, November 8.

Ornaments will be displayed and offered for sale at the Center’s Kuhefuss House Museum, with funds being used to support the CCC’s historic programming.

Artists will receive voucher for a free cocktail or beverage during one of our Finally Friday events, plus a tax receipt acknowledging the donation of his/her ornament(s) at the time of delivery.

Please attach the following information to your handmade ornament(s): Artist Name, Email Address, Title or Description of Ornament. Feel free to include a business card or any promotional information about the artist with your ornament(s).

We thank you in advance for your generosity in making this holiday fundraiser a great success!

Feature your artwork at our holiday market

Your time is limited during the holidays so let us sell your artwork for you at the Kuhefuss House Holiday Marketplace. Held six consecutive Fridays during the very popular Festive Fridays in downtown Cedarburg, the streets and local businesses will be filled with shoppers and The Kuhefuss House will be open to showcase your artwork in the first floor rooms of this charmingly decorated historic home. Refreshments will be sold as well. This opportunity is brought to you by Cedarburg Cultural Center.

Event dates are Fridays, November 18, 25, December 2, 9, 16, 23: 5-8 pm.

  • This gift show focuses on handmade items made by local artists. Please apply if you have fresh, new work that would appeal to holiday shoppers and art appreciators. (Please note that guests are mostly looking for gifts for others at this event.)

  • Each artist’s work will be displayed; artists do not need to be present during the event dates. CCC will staff the event and handle all purchases and taxes, retaining 20% commission. Artists will be paid by check within 30 days of the last date of the exhibit. Remaining artwork may be picked up at The Kuhefuss House on Wednesday, January 4: 11 am-4 pm. Email Kerry Tharp at kerry@artmusichistory.org with any questions.

Applications are due by 4 PM on October 29, 2022.
