Youth Plein Air Contest-July 11-25
Cedarburg Cultural Center
2020 Youth “Plein Air” Contest
RULES and Registration
The Cedarburg Cultural Center is pleased to sponsor our annual Youth Plein Air Contest
July 11 – July 25, 2020!
Break out into the sunshine with your paints, pencils, crayons or pastels and create a work in your favorite location within Ozaukee County. Please choose your locations safely! Finished works on canvas or paper should be unframed and be a completed size of 8x10 or 11x14. Each artist may complete an unlimited number of pieces; but only ONE entry per artist may be entered in the contest.
To ensure that we run the contest in a safe and socially distanced manner we have made a few changes for the 2020 contest:
- Entry is $10 per child, or a complimentary entry is included with participation in the Color Your World Art Camp.
- Art supplies will NOT be available for purchase at the Center this year
- In the past each blank canvas or paper would need to be stamped at the registration table at the Cultural Center, however, this year we will NOT be stamping canvases. Please work under our “honor system” and only create your artwork during the weeks of July 11 – July 25. (Art created during the Color Your World Art Camp may not be entered in the competition.)
Awards will be given by a professional juror and will be presented in each age category: 5 & under, ages 6-8, ages 9-12 and ages 13-17.
Contest Schedule of Events - Details
