Youth Plein Air Contest
Tuesday, June 13 - Wednesday, June 21, 2023Youth Plein Air is now in its 20th year!
Calling all Kids and Teens! Get out into the sunshine with your paints, pencils, crayons or pastels to create art alongside hundreds of Plein Air artists from all over the country. The Youth Plein Air Contest invites artists age 17 and under to join in the excitement of painting en plein air (French for painting in the open air). Awards will be presented in each age category as well as a “People’s Choice” award. Free entry is included with participation in the Color Your World Art Camp. Entry fee is $10 per child. Print and return the completed Youth Plein Air Registration form to the Cedarburg Cultural Center. Artwork will be on exhibit at CCC in the Corridor Gallery Friday, June 23 through Sunday, July 9. Stop in to vote for People’s Choice during this time, including Strawberry Fest weekend! The awards ceremony takes place at the CCC on Wednesday, June 28 at 5:30 pm.
