Painting from Photos Workshop with Marc Anderson

Saturday, April 18: 9 am-4 pm (includes one-hour lunch break)

Join award-winning plein air painter and illustrator, Marc Anderson for a full day in the classroom! In this workshop, we will discuss the many benefits and challenges of working with reference photos. Marc will also cover painting fundamentals, including color, drawing, value, materials, and more. The day will begin with three hours of lectures and demonstrations. After a break for lunch, students will work on their own paintings while receiving individualized attention and feedback. Students may use photos provided by the instructor or work from their own photos. The supply list is available online.
