In-Person Joy & Discovery of Empathic Acrylic Pour-Sandra Zahn 4/24 & 4/25
In-Person Joy & Discovery of Empathic Acrylic Pour with Sandra Zahn
Saturday & Sunday, April 24 & 25: 2-4 pm
For those who want to deepen and support their inner growth during this unprecedented time on Earth this class is for you. It will strengthen your empathic abilities to safely see deeper into yourself. The focus of the class is empathic meanings of colors, the way the paint moves and the image that emerges. Session 1 involves the acrylic pour, noticing the images in your painting and intuitively recognizing their physical metaphors. Art is about creating visual metaphors that represent our unconscious energy. When you intuitively flow paint on a surface, you liberate and push yourself into a new, bold and free, action-filled expression. You will journal responses to questions about your paintings and receiving feedback on elements that you may not have noticed. Session 2 involves modifying the imagery that has emerged by hand painting to define and enhance shapes, colors and design till the meaning strongly emerges while maintaining the fresh spontaneous energy of the pour. Discussion about possible steps for personal growth will follow. You will complete two acrylic pours. A supply list is available online.
In-Person Fee: $65 CCC Members / $78 Non-Member
