Cultivating Joy through Mindfulness with Jacqueline Janz
Tuesday, May 16: 6-7:30 pm
These days with life’s challenges, it may seem your happiness and joy are not as strong as before or don’t surface as often. Working on this may seem less important or even silly, so we push it aside and think it will just return on its own. The truth is, we can actually cultivate a mind state and build habits to allow space for an increased sense of pleasure, fulfillment, and gratitude in life.
Joy is an emotion evoked by well-being, a feeling of delight and its close companion is happiness. It simmers, grows, and opens our hearts. With it we are more connected and engaged and it supports a sense of more clarity.
In this workshop we will explore joy and review mindfulness practices, like gratitude, along with tips to make it more readily accessible. If nothing else, we will be sure to share a little happiness in this 1.5 hour class. Class will be held at the Kuhefuss House, W63N627 Washington Ave Cedarburg, WI 53012. Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in.
