Intro to Mindfulness Meditation: Living with Kind Awareness with Jacqueline Janz 

Wednesdays, September 20, 27, October 4, 11:  6-7:30 pm  

Now is the time to bring more kind awareness to the present moment to support emotional balance, foster purpose-driven actions and reduce stress. Join Jacqueline on this 4-week journey as you learn mindfulness techniques in a group setting. Each week we will focus on different aspects of our attention and explore our thoughts and feelings to live more intentionally. You will also learn relaxation techniques and skills to cultivate present moment attention. 

Mindfulness helps the body respond to stress in a more open and relaxed way. This course is designed to help you recognize your own personal experience within your environment. We are built to fight off and defend ourselves in any unpleasant or difficult situation, yet this is not the best way to deal with the minor ups and downs of life. Nurturing a loving awareness is a gentle practice that can assist you on your path. Please bring a water bottle and cushion/pillow and arrive 5 minutes early to settle in. Class will now be held at the Lincoln Building, 2nd Floor, W63 N643 Washington Ave (behind Community Gym) in Cedarburg.
