Nature Journaling with Kristin Gjerdset
Wednesday, July 31: 6-9 pm
Participants will look to the Wisconsin Summer landscape as inspiration for a mixed media image. Think of this as a mini artist retreat experience, allowing for exploration combining different drawing and water-based painting materials and collage techniques. Participants will be encouraged to bring out the beauty of the season in their own unique way. Creating compositions, technical advice and using observation skills will also be included in the content of this workshop. The instructor will have visual resources available to use (ex, photos), along with supplies to experiment with. If the weather is good, we will be outside for a portion of the workshop, then finish/refine our work in the classroom; please dress appropriately. All supplies are included.
