In this workshop for beginners, learn to create proportionately accurate paintings of any size from an already existing image or photograph by preparing your surface area utilizing a grid technique. This technique assists with the prep work and early stages of the acrylic painting by breaking down the reference image into small sections, making it easier and more manageable to create a drawing/sketch for the intended painting. It’s a real game-changer! Students should bring a 16x20” stretched canvas and an 8 x10” reference photo. All other supplies are included.
