Start your cross stitch journey today! This 3-hour workshop was designed with beginners in mind and will include the basic skills of embroidery. Students will walk away knowing how to easily read cross stitch charts, how to separate embroidery floss and what needles to use for the best success. Students will learn basic cross stitch and back stitch and how to back their piece with felt using running and blanket stitches. The skills taught in this class are easily expanded upon to create more advanced works. All materials will be provided to create a 4-inch bumblebee embroidery hoop; there is a $10 supply fee payable to the instructor at the beginning of the class.
