TUBA DAN Jerabek began playing polkas in 1960 with his six brothers and sisters in Northeastern Wisconsin near Kewanee, a hot-bed for polka bands in the ’40s-’70s. Later, Tuba joined the Dick Rogers Orchestra and performed weekly on live on TV for 14 years and four European Tours. As his family grew, Tuba started his own band called the “Polkalanders” which evolved into the “Tuba Dan Band” and included their talented sons, for special gigs. It is a very rare treat to see the family perform together and October 3rd will be one of those special opportunities. Get ready for a Tubarific performance!
